Assembly committee to hold hearing on 911 calls

by

The Assembly Committee on Personal Privacy will hold a hearing relating to public access to 911 calls on Thursday at 1:30 p.m.

I don’t have to tell anybody from Madison why this issue might be of interest to UW students.

I think because everybody has such short-term memories….

“The murder of Brittany Zimmerman, former UW Student still lives in memory: “Zimmermann was a student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was stabbed in her apartment while calling 911. The operator didn’t send police to investigate and said she didn’t hear the scream or sounds of a struggle that are audible on the call.”
