Warm but rainy today in Madison. High of 72 and a low of 65.

Especially good crime report today. In the Cap Times we’ve got a drunken man who stole some cigarillos and then crashed his car into the convenience store wall, as well as a drunken police intern who went around the city posing as a cop until he was arrested by a real cop.

Madison is facing enormous debt. What about new construction projects?

State Journal: Kollege Klub will likely be closed for a month next winter as punishment for fights.

Former head of the Kewaunee Republican Party poses as a “local mom” at a Kagen health care forum. When probed by reporters she said she was not affiliated with the Republican Party at all.

Oh snap, looks like Mark Neumann is kicking Scott Walker where it really hurts: Twitter.

In Milwaukee transit supporters are holding a bake sale to highlight Scott Walker’s neglect of the bus system.

    Good: KK is closed for a month.
    Bad: It’s during winter break, so it really has little effect.
    Worse: Now all the patrons will seek other drinking holes. At least they were contained before.

      According to the article the exam period can actually be a good time for bars. People who finish their finals are definitely ready to go all out I guess.
