		<description><![CDATA[You&#039;d be hard-pressed to find a state Republican Party anywhere outside the Northeast that could pass for anything close to &quot;sane.&quot; Minnesota which has as progressive if not more a tradition than Wisconsin gave us Michelle Bachmann, Wisconsin, of course, gave the US McCarthyism. I&#039;m finding it hard to be shocked by anything Republicans slash tea-partiers do or say. They&#039;re not interested in rational policy debate and they need to be sidelined from governance to the greatest extent possible until they get their shit together.]]></description>
